"Christmas in Evergreen"
Premieres Saturday, December 2 at 8 PM ET/PT on Hallmark Channel
Dr. Allie Shaw (Ashley Williams) is the town veterinarian in Evergreen, Vermont, but thinks it might be time for a change, especially since she just got a job in Washington, D.C. where her boyfriend Spencer Burris (Marcus Rosner) lives. Two years of long-distance dating has taken a toll on their relationship, and they’re thinking about taking the next step. But Allie isn’t sure, so she’s agreed to spend Christmas in D.C. to test the waters. Everyone is going to miss Allie, especially her parents, Carol and Joe Shaw (Barbara Niven and Malcolm Stewart), who run Kris Kringle Kitchen, a diner with a yuletide flavor, not unlike the rest of the idyllic mountain town.
Dr. Ryan Bellamy (Teddy Sears) is looking for a change too. His wife died just before Christmas last year, and he’s taking his 8-year-old daughter Zoe (Jaeda Lily Miller) to Florida on a cruise to take her mind off the holidays. On their way to the airport, they stop in Evergreen for lunch, and meet Allie trying to start her truck. She needs to catch a flight to D.C., and even her truck wants her to stay. Ryan offers help, and suddenly the truck starts, as does an instant attraction. Thinking they’ll never see each other again, Allie goes to check on a pregnant cow, while Ryan and Zoe head to the dinner, where Zoe makes a wish on Evergreen’s magic snow globe. Legend has it that if one makes a wish from the heart, Christmas magic will make it come true.

And it looks like a snowstorm will make Zoe’s wish happen. She wants to spend Christmas in Evergreen, and all planes are grounded. Stranded with Ryan and Zoe at the airport, Allie offers to drive them back to town. But on the way there, she gets a call that the cow she saw earlier is in labor, and Zoe’s amazing Christmas begins. Not only does she see a calf being born, but also she, Allie and her dad bake Christmas cookies, make stockings, and build a snowman. Zoe couldn’t be more delighted with how her Christmas is turning out, and Ryan and Allie are happy to get to know one another. But things get pretty complicated when Spencer arrives in the snowbound town by helicopter! He wants to whisk Allie off to a swanky party in the Hamptons, but she’s conflicted by her new feelings for Ryan and Zoe, who have fallen for her as well.
There’s confusion all around as Ryan shows up to Allie’s house and sees her with Spencer. Not only that, Evergreen’s holiday festival is in jeopardy due to all the snow, and Zoe’s wish to stay is threatened when the airport reopens. However, something or someone is keeping Ryan, Zoe and Allie in Evergreen, and it might have something to do with a man named Nick (Keith Martin Gordey). He’s been at the diner listening while people wish on the snow globe, and he seems to know quite a bit about Christmas magic.
