“America’s Got Talent” Season Premiere Tuesday, May 30 at 8 PM ET/PT on NBC
The summer's hottest reality competition show, "America's Got Talent," returns with Mel B, Simon Cowell, Heidi Klum, Howie Mandel and new host Tyra Banks. In the season premiere, variety acts of all types and contestants of all ages audition for the chance to win the $1 million prize. The Golden Buzzer is back giving five lucky acts the chance to go directly to the live shows at the Dolby Theatre in Los Angeles to compete for America's vote.
With the search open to acts of all ages and talents, “America’s Got Talent” has brought the variety format back to the forefront of American culture by showcasing unique performers from across the country. The series is a true celebration of creativity and talent, featuring a colorful array of singers, dancers, comedians, contortionists, impressionists, jugglers, magicians, ventriloquists and hopeful stars, all vying to win America’s hearts and, of course, the $1 million.
Over previous seasons, “America’s Got Talent” has played a role in creating instant stardom for singers, musicians, a magicians and a ventriloquist.
