Bob Lee Swagger Returns to USA Network for a Second Season of "Shooter"

          Based on the best-selling novels by Stephen Hunter and the 2007 Paramount film starring Mark Wahlberg, Season 2 of “SHOOTER” follows the journey of Bob Lee Swagger (Ryan Phillippe, “Secrets and Lies”), a highly decorated veteran who must confront a nemesis from his past in order to return to a life of normalcy.

          “Shooter” also stars, Omar Epps (“House”) as Isaac Johnson, Shantel Vansanten (“One Tree Hill”) as Julie Swagger and Cynthia Addai-Robinson (“Arrow”) as Nadine Memphis.
          In the season premiere, “The Hunting Party,” Bob is in Frankfurt Germany with his former Marine unit, attending an awards ceremony, which is interrupted by a terrorist attack.

           A co-production with Paramount Television and Universal Cable Productions, SHOOTER comes from executive producers MarkWahlberg (“Ballers,” “Boardwalk Empire”) of Closest to the Hole Productions; Stephen Levinson (“Ballers,” “Boardwalk Empire”) of Leverage Entertainment; Lorenzo di Bonaventura ("Transformers," "The Real O'Neals"); and John Hlavin (“The Shield”).  Phillippe is also a producer on the project.
