"When Calls the Heart" Sunday, April 2 at 9 PM ET/PT on Hallmark Channel
In the April 2 episode, “Healing Heart,” Elizabeth (Erin Krakow) is overjoyed by her engagement to Jack and begins to plan their future together in Hope Valley as she nervously awaits word that her betrothed is safe amidst the danger of the Northern Territories. When Lee Coulter (Kavan Smith) loses his voice, wife Rosemary (Pascale Hutton) steps in to help him run the mill, with some not-so-predictable results. At the café, Abigail’s (Lori Loughlin) new cook with a mysterious past, Carson Shepherd (Paul Greene), implements a plan to attract customers in the wake of Ray Wyatt’s (Jeremy Guilbaut) obvious attempts to squeeze Abigail out of business.
Elizabeth has a new challenge on her hands in the classroom with a pair of newly enrolled students, railroad kids who are ill-behaved bullies harboring a family secret. She’s determined to discover the source of their anger so she can help them but gets no help from their uncle, Ray Wyatt. Acting on a tip from an informant, Bill Avery (Jack Wagner) finally captures the mystery witness in the Henry Gowen (Martin Cummins) embezzlement case, but both Avery and the witness, A.J. Foster (Josie Bissett), find themselves engaged in a firefight when Wyatt catches wind that Avery might be onto his and Gowen’s nefarious plans.
