For visionary designer Alex Vega, custom cars are like an art form; a way for owners to express their unique personality while enjoying the thrill of driving. At The Auto Firm in Miami, Vega has built a thriving business creating exceptional supercars for super stars including international recording artist Marc Anthony, M.L.B. star Yoenis Cespedes, undefeated championship boxer Floyd Mayweather, singer/rapper Akon and many, many more. This summer, Velocity is taking viewers inside The Auto Firm as Vega’s talented team build head turning custom vehicles.
The premiere episode of “THE AUTO FIRM WITH ALEX VEGA” features M.L.B. starting pitching sensation Carlos Carrasco of the Cleveland Indians and his Ferrari 488, as well as a surprise build for one of Alex’s biggest fans, a 16-year-old cancer survivor, and his beloved 1975 Harvester Scout.
“Alex’s clients want something that stands out from the crowd,” said Robert S. Scanlon, Executive Vice President and General Manager of Velocity and Automotive Content. “With Miami’s striking, eclectic car scene that’s hard to do. Time after time they trust Alex’s keen eye for design and his meticulous work ethic to fashion cars that express their individuality and deliver on their vision. Velocity is excited to invite viewers into his business as these fourwheeled works of art are crafted.”
