Season Premiere with Back-to-Back Episodes
Monday, November 26 at 8 PM ET on ABC
As part of ABC’s 25 Days of Christmas, The Great Christmas Light Fight ignites season 6 with two new episodes. The popular series features returning celebrity judges Carter Oosterhouse and Taniya Nayak. Following the season premiere, new episodes will air on Monday, December 3 (8 to 10 PM ET), and Monday, December 17 (8 to 10 PM ET), with a special “All Stars” episode debuting in between on MONDAY, December 10 (10 to 11 PM ET).
Season 6 of “The Great Christmas Light Fight” showcases the wildest and most spectacular Christmas displays in America. In each one-hour episode, four families from all around the country decorate their homes to the extreme in the hopes of winning the coveted Light Fight trophy and a $50,000 prize, with a total of $300,000 given away for the season. This season, as the temperature cools down, the competition heats up when families invite us to warm up from the cold inside their homes to witness their fantastic Christmas décor for the very first time. In addition to all of the stunning inside/outside displays, the first ever “Heavyweights” episode will showcase light shows that have grown too large for any home.
On the premiere episode at 8 PM, the most wonderful time of the year has officially begun! Showcasing their incredible holiday displays are the Richardson family with their extensive collection of 300 inflatables that come to life in Southern style in Madison, Mississippi; the Vaughan family with their whimsical wire frame forest, complete with flying birds, leaping deer, jumping fish and shooting stars in Alexandria, Virginia; the Salveson-Sangalli family with their holiday display, including 72 themed Christmas trees filling the inside of their home from floor to ceiling in Port St. Lucie, Florida; and the Hanley family with their larger-than-life ranch display, including Big Red – a 26-foot tall reindeer in Cleveland, Texas. Who will be awarded $50,000 and the coveted Light Fight trophy? Tune in as judge Taniya Nayak makes the decision.
