“So You Think You Can Dance”
Monday, June 1 at 8 PM ET/PT on FOX
SO YOU THINK YOU CAN DANCE features host and four-time Emmy Award nominee Cat Deeley, resident judge Nigel Lythgoe, along with new judges Paula Abdul and Jason Derulo. Each two-hour show includes performances and eliminations, as well as special dance and musical performances by a variety of guests.

SO YOU THINK YOU CAN DANCE travels across the country in search of 10 males and 10 females from the thousands who will audition. Those who shine during auditions are given a ticket to Los Angeles for callbacks, where they worked with top choreographers to learn, and then be judged on, multiple styles of dance. For season twelve, the participants will be divided into “Stage” dancers who are trained in Ballet, jazz or tap, and “Street” dancers skilled in hip-hop, break dancing, etc.

Over the course of the current season, the Top 20 dancers were selected, the live shows began, the finalists were paired with a partner performing in their own styles and voting commenced as dancers performed for America’s vote. The contestants at risk after the previous week’s vote were announced at the top of the show and two were sent home at the end of each episode.
