getTV Adds the Iconic TV Series “Walker, Texas Ranger” to its Lineup

          After nearly two decades as a movie star, Chuck Norris brought his karate kicks to primetime in this contemporary Western series. The champion martial artist and action film icon plays Cordell Walker, a Dallas-based lawman who operates by his own set of rules.           Walker is assisted by his young partner Jimmy Trivette (Clarence Gilyard), a former pro football player who grew up in inner city of Baltimore. Alex Cahill (Sheree J. Wilson) is the assistant district attorney who sometimes frowns on Walker’s methods, but is usually susceptible to his charms. C.D. Parker (Gailard Sartain in the pilot episode and Noble Willingham) in the series, is Walker’s friend, a retired ranger who operates the local watering hole. Supporting characters include Nia Peeples and Judson Mills as fellow rangers, Marco Sanchez as a cop, Jimmy Wlcek as a private detective, and Floyd ‘Red Crow’ Westerman as the uncle who raised Walker after the violent death of his parents. (Like Norris, Walker is part Native American.) 

         Walker, Texas Ranger originally aired on CBS from 1993 through 2001.
