          “Past is Prologue” - In an effort to end the cycle violence, Jamal refuses to make music until his family makes peace. The Feds want Anika to testify against Lucious and Cookie decides how best to protect her family when she meets with people from her and Lucious' past at Hakeem and Laura's wedding.

          FOX has renewed this award-winning drama for a third season. EMPIRE stars Terrence Howard, Taraji P. Henson, Jussie Smollett, Bryshere “Yazz” Gray, Trai Byers, Grace Gealey, Kaitlin Doubleday, Gabourey Sidibe, Ta’Rhonda Jones and Serayah McNeill. In addition to the regular cast, the series has featured guest appearances by a wide range of talented performers, including Chris Rock, Alicia Keys, Marisa Tomei, Naomi Campbell, Ludacris, Adam Rodriguez, Vivica A. Fox, Rosie O’ Donnell and Andre Royo.

 

          TV ONE is celebrating the blockbuster drama EMPIRE with a second season binge-a-thon on Saturday, May 14, giving viewers a chance to catch up with Cookie, Lucious and the rest of the conniving clan before the series’ heart-stopping May 18 Season Finale on FOX. Beginning at 9 a.m. ET, viewers can binge back-to-back on all 17 episodes of the second season of television’s award-winning and most nominated series starring Academy Award nominee Terrence Howard and Academy Award and Emmy Award nominee Taraji P. Henson.
