Since the moment schoolteacher Elizabeth Thatcher (Erin Krakow) and Canadian Mountie Jack Thornton (Daniel Lissing) first laid eyes on each other in the first season of Hallmark Chanel’s “When Calls the Heart,” the network’s longest-running primetime series, the period drama’s legions of passionate fans known as Hearties have been waiting, hoping and praying for wedding bells to ring for the most romantic couple on television.
