Season Premiere Sunday, April 29 at 9 PM ET/PT on Hallmark Channel

In the season premiere, “With This Ring,” Sam (James Denton), now engaged to the enchantress Cassie (Catherine Bell), visits the local jewelry store with Abigail (Sarah Power) to find the perfect engagement ring.  He stumbles across a most unique vintage – and unbeknownst to Sam – Merriwick family heirloom gimmel ring, albeit with a missing piece.  Sam is heartbroken when the owner tells him the partial ring is not for sale.  Abigail uses her spellbinding charm to conjure up a plan to reconnect the past with the present with a truly selfless act, surprising even herself, and Sam as well.  Nick (Rhys Matthew Bond) and Grace (Bailee Madison) are still angry with each other and not speaking, so Sam and Cassie to delay sharing their nuptials news with them.

But after figuring out their big secret, Nick and Grace decide to feign a truce only for the greater good of their parents, but each wonders just how long they can keep up the charade.  Meanwhile, Martha’s (Catherine Disher) attempt to boost tourism sends her on a quest to find “the most romantic spot” in Middleton.  An old wedding album she finds at Bell Book & Candle acts as an ancient map of sorts.  With Abigail’s help, Martha’s journey around town leads her to not only discover that “romance is everywhere you look,” but also to the exact place where more Merriwick women got engaged, which is not at all what she expected to find.

In the May 6 episode at 9 PM ET/PT, “In 4/4, with Emotion,” an old, original song hand-written on sheet music is discovered hidden inside a piano bench at Grey House, and it’s not just Cassie (Catherine Bell) and Sam (James Denton) who immediately take to the memorable tune, which mysteriously seems to appear and follow them around town.  At the Bistro, the news of Cassie and Sam’s engagement begins to spread.  After seeing Cassie’s striking gimmel ring, Stephanie (Kylee Evans) feels down about her own recent breakup, prompting a meddlesome Abigail (Sarah Power) to stir the pot with a scheme to get Stephanie noticed, only to see her plan quickly unravel.

Meanwhile, Cassie sees the cracks in Nick (Rhys Matthew Bond) and Grace’s (Bailee Madison) feigned truce and conjures up a plan to help them work as a team.  Nick gets the unexpected opportunity to right a wrong, which helps put the past behind them.  Sam begins to offer a variety of ideas for their upcoming wedding but the usually unflappable Cassie is uneasy about saying what she wants.  After being reminded that a good marriage takes great communication, she and Sam agree to make plans together.  Back at Grey House, When Abigail answers a late-night knock on the door she finds an unexpected and startling visitor on the other side.

Then in the May 13 episode at 9 PM ET/PT, “Daddy’s Home,” Cassie (Catherine Bell) welcomes a young, expecting couple to Grey House and helps them accept how different their lives – and their family – will be once their baby arrives.  Abigail (Sarah Power) answers a late night knock at the door and is stunned and speechless by what she sees on the other side – her father Arthur (Art Hindle), who walked out of her life 22 years earlier, looking timid and holding a gift bag.  When Cassie (Catherine Bell) tries to offer heartfelt words of compassion, it’s clear Abigail is struggling with what to do next.  A mistrustful and apprehensive Abigail reluctantly agrees to meet him for dinner where he explains the reason for his long absence and wants to make amends.

When Grace (Bailee Madison) robotically and unenthusiastically wins another math competition, Sam (James Denton) detects her apathy and challenges her to find her real passion rather than go through the motions.  Meanwhile, Martha (Catherine Disher) comes up with an inspirational idea mixing the past with the present to encourage the next generation of women small business owners.  Later, Abigail receives an alarming phone call from her bank’s fraud department and is now more than ever convinced her father has ulterior motives for his visit.  When Abigail confronts him and listens to what he has to say that she starts to heed Cassie’s advice, realizing that life can be about second chances and that she can have a future she never even imagined.

In the May 20 episode at 9 PM ET/PT, “Family time,” Cassie (Catherine Bell) and Sam (James Denton) bring Grace (Bailee Madison) and Nick (Rhys Matthew Bond) for an overnight at the lakehouse, hoping time together will help the kids resolve their differences and help the soon-to-be family to bond.  Once they arrive, Cassie realizes that despite her magical efforts, there are many distractions at the lake house preventing family bonding.  When Nick finds himself in trouble, though, Grace must decide if she wants to rescue him or turn him in to Cassie and Sam.  While Cassie is away, Abigail (Sarah Power) is in charge of Grey House, and – after meddling in the love lives of guests – soon realizes that Cassie’s knack of making Grey House a magical place is much harder than it seems.  Meanwhile Martha (Catherine Disher), Tara (Rebecca Dalton) and Brandon (Dan Jeannotte) ponder the purpose of a mysterious box at Bell, Book & Candle before a visitor in town reveals its surprising meaning – and it causes life-changing realization.
