Candace Cameron Bure is back as a librarian investigating small town murders. The original movie, “Dead Over Heels,” begins by nearly killing our not-so-mild mannered librarian. Aurora and her best friend, reporter Sally Allison (Lexa Doig), are planting pansies in Roe’s garden when a two-seater plane buzzes them (think Cary Grant in “North by Northwest”). Moments later – BAM! – a body drops from the sky right into Roe’s flowerbed. No one could accuse Roe of looking for a mystery when people are dropping corpses in front of her – literally. Roe, as always, is ready to unravel the puzzle and take on all comers. Naturally many await.
Complicating matters, the body is that of Detective Sergeant Jack Burns. The fact that it is found outside her house, casts suspicion on Aurora. Determined to find the killer and clear her name, she can't help but get involved. When other strange things happen around her, ranging from peculiar to violent to potentially deadly, she must decipher the personal message before it's too late.
Aurora’s boyfriend, former CIA agent Martin (Yannick Bisson), is none too thrilled with her investigations but Roe will listen to him as much as she will listen to anyone – which is not very much. Marilu Henner stars as Aida Teagarden.
