 “Beyond the Tank”
New Season Premiere Date to be determined on ABC

Lori Greiner checks in on her investment of The Paintbrush Cover, a convenient way to store wet paintbrushes from Season Five, by visiting the creators, John and Sal DePaola and Anthony Caputo from Jackson, New Jersey. She throws a curveball into their attempts to take their business to the next level. Robert Herjavec meets with Mark and Hanna Lim from Altadena, California, the couple who invented the Lollacup – an innovative sippy cup from Season Three – to understand why their sales have stalled and how they can be re-ignited. And despite not getting an investment from the Sharks in Season Four, Liz Lovely, a brand of gluten-free cookies, still finds success, even with overcoming personal struggles.

Watch as the Sharks roll up their sleeves to help their Entrepreneurs make the tough decisions that hopefully lead to success, growth and profits in “Beyond the Tank,” the companion series from the producers of the Emmy-winning reality series, “Shark Tank.” The one-hour episodes of “Beyond the Tank” will feature the captivating and surprising outcomes after the Sharks strike a deal with the Entrepreneurs on “Shark Tank.”

Audiences familiar with the compelling ups and downs of the “Shark Tank” negotiations will be further engaged in the drama that takes place after the Entrepreneurs’ appearance on the show. What lies in the aftermath of their investment? Did a promising deal turn sour, or did it lead to millions of dollars in sales?

“Beyond the Tank” features The Sharks: billionaire Mark Cuban, owner and chairman of AXS TV and outspoken owner of the 2011 NBA championship Dallas Mavericks; real estate mogul Barbara Corcoran; “Queen of QVC” Lori Greiner; technology innovator Robert Herjavec; fashion and branding expert Daymond John; and venture capitalist Kevin O’Leary.

As the Sharks travel across America to mentor the Entrepreneurs, assess the businesses and provide their industry expertise — to make a profit — audiences will realize the challenges and spirited negotiations are never over. The series will take a look back at past “Shark Tank” pitches and deals to examine the highs and lows that can come from an appearance in the tank.

“Beyond the Tank” revisits Entrepreneurs whose businesses were groundbreaking in terms of their technology, business model or branding and have taken their business to new heights with the help of the Sharks. The show will also delve into how some Entrepreneurs and their Shark investors gambled on their businesses and lost, and how they overcome or move on from that failure. We will learn more about the Entrepreneurs’ personal journeys as well as their struggles and triumphs as they persevere to pursue the American dream.
