When a modest music teacher is hired to give piano lessons to the daughter of a widower, she finds herself desperate to save a struggling community centre. Music is Lizzie Moore’s (Lindy Booth) life, and shares her gift with students of any age who’s willing to learn. Brad Evans’ (Robin Dunne) number one priority is his daughter, Abigail (Micah Kalisch). They haven’t celebrated a proper Christmas since Abigail’s mother passed away.
Since Brad’s been so busy at his corporate job, and Abigail and her mom loved singing Christmas carols, Brad wants to hire a piano teacher for Abigail to experience that Christmas cheer again. Little does he know, that the musician he hires teaches at the music school he and his co-worker, Cynthia Brooks (Jennifer Gibson) are in charge of shutting down.
Lizzie and Abigail immediately find common ground with their love of Christmas classics, and the spirit of Christmas music brings all sorts of joy back into Brad and Abigail’s lives. Lizzie couldn’t ask for a better student, but what she hadn’t expected was that she and Brad would fall for one another! She finds herself conflicted, because despite her feelings for Brad, he is still involved with shutting down her music school. With their annual Christmas Eve concert possibly being their last, Lizzie, with Abigail’s help, decides to make this their best one yet.
