Season Premiere Saturday, August 19 at 9 PM ET/PT on AMC

“Halt and Catch Fire” chronicles the tech industry and the birth of the Internet in the 1980s and early 1990s. The final season of the series will see our cast of characters navigating the early days of the Internet and web browsers, pondering their destinies both personally and professionally, while the competitive nature of the tech world continues to complicate and affect their relationships.

“Halt and Catch Fire” stars Lee Pace as Joe MacMillan, Mackenzie Davis as Cameron Howe, Scoot McNairy as Gordon Clark, Kerry Bishé as Donna Clark and Toby Huss as John Bosworth.

In Halt and Catch Fire, the race is on to develop a new technology capable of searching the World Wide Web. VC partner Donna Emerson embarks on a bold new venture that puts her on a collision course with her ex-husband Gordon Clark and his long-time collaborator Joe MacMillan. Meanwhile, Bosworth hides an embarrassing secret that could tear the fabric of his relationship with Diane, and Cameron Howe reels from personal and professional failure, never imagining it will bring her back into the lives of her former partners.
