On Sunday, Aug. 28, follow the moving story of a family of bears emerging from hibernation in the astonishing Alaskan wilderness in the cable television premiere of “Disneynature’s Bears,” and then, on Sunday, Sept. 4, follow the different stages of a tiger’s life from playful cub to learning adolescent to young hunting adult in “Secret Life of Tigers.”

Premieres Sunday, Aug. 28, at 9/8c
Follow a year in the life of a bear family — mother Sky teaches her two impressionable cubs, Amber and Scout, about life’s most important lessons. Set against a majestic Alaskan backdrop, their journey begins as winter ends. Emerging from hibernation, the three face the bitter cold and an exciting but very risky outside world. Astonishing footage captures the fast-moving action and suspense of an endearing family learning to live life to its fullest in one of the planet’s last great wildernesses.
Destination Wild: The Forbidden River
Three-Part Special Premieres Sunday, Sept. 11, at 8/7c, 9/8c and 10/9c
In Northeast Asia, stretching over 3,000 miles from Mongolia eastward to Russia’s Pacific coast and from Siberia southward into China and North Korea, lies the sprawling basin of the Amur River.
