The official tree finder for Chicago’s renowned Tree Lighting ceremony runs into a challenge in Hallmark Channel"s Original Movie “Miss Christmas”
Premieres Sunday, November 5 at 8 PM ET/PT  on Hallmark Channel
Holly Khun (Brooke D’Orsay), known to all of Chicago as “Miss Christmas,” is the Creative Director of the Radcliffe Center and it is her job to find a magnificent Christmas tree for the plaza. But this year the 95-foot spruce she was transporting has been damaged by a crane, rendering it unstable, and now Holly must locate another tree for the lighting ceremony just 10 days away. Her assistant, Erin Kovacs (Fiona Vroom) and her boss Andrea Zeitz (Chrystal Balint) are wondering how Holly is going to find a good enough tree, let alone get it transported, in time and Holly’s answer is simple: “I’m Miss Christmas. This is what I do.”
But with the holiday season in full swing, all the trees left are too short or shedding needles and Holly is beginning to wonder if the only thing harder than finding the perfect tree is finding the perfect man. Hoping for a Christmas miracle, she begins combing through hundreds of letters from fans who send photos of trees, hoping theirs will be chosen for the ceremony, and finally one from eight-year-old Joey McNary (Luke Roessler) from Klaus, Wisconsin, makes Holly’s eyes light up.

The boy’s tree is perfect, if only his letter had a return address. Determined to find Joey and his tree, Holly is off to Klaus the next day and, unbeknownst to her, one of the volunteers setting up for the town’s elaborate Christmas festival is handsome Sam McNary (Marc Blucas) Joey’s father. In their brief – but flirtatious – encounter, the two learn they’re not only attracted to one another, but also they have opposite opinions about Christmas. He thinks the holiday is just about opening presents, and she thinks it’s all about opening hearts.
