“The Real O’Neals”
Tuesday, February 14 and 21 at 9:30 PM ET/PT on ABC

Jimmy wants to teach his younger brother the rite of passage of drinking on the February 14th episode, “The Real Brother’s Keeper.” When Shannon gets a comp hotel room due to a scam she’s pulling, Jimmy thinks this is the perfect time to teach Kenny how to drink, but it all goes awry when Kenny invites Brett to join in.  Meanwhile, Eileen discovers that Pat has a new girlfriend, her nemesis, Sheila DeMars. Angela Kinsey guest stars. The episode also includes a ‘90s music video fantasy sequence

On the February 21st episode, “The Real Confirmation,” Shannon asks VP Murray to be her godfather leading up to her confirmation and Eileen fears her own relationship with him might be moving too fast. Shannon’s big day also has a surprising effect on Kenny’s relationship when Brett says, “I love you,” sending Kenny into a tailspin. Meanwhile, the return of a hot former babysitter puts Pat and Jimmy at odds when she constantly makes passes at Pat.

Casey Johnson and David Winsor are the creators and showrunners of this comedy series that among other things, looks at young people dating through the eyes of multiple relationships.

The O’Neal family has continued its journey of self-discovery and growth, resulting from Kenny (Noah Galvin) coming out and his parents, Eileen (Martha Plimpton) and Pat (Jay R. Ferguson), getting divorced. After finally coming out, Kenny has discovered that life outside the closet isn’t that easy. Luckily for him, his older brother, Jimmy (Matt Shively), will always be there to offer his often-misguided advice.

And finally, there’s Shannon (Bebe Wood), the youngest O’Neal, whose unique views on life make her wise beyond her years. Eileen and Pat continue to deal with starting their separate lives while still living under the same roof. Through it all, Aunt Jodi (Mary Hollis Inboden) is there offering her unusual brand of support, as the O’Neals continue to explore new relationships, friendships and acceptance of one another.
