          Starring Tony Award-winners Anika Noni Rose and Ruben Santiago-Hudson, “The Quad” provides us with a unique culture-filled world of the Georgia A&M University, an historically black college. Eva (Rose) is the newly elected president of Georgia A&M, having to balance the demands of her new position her shaky marriage and troubled daughter. She is also faced with the challenges of an incoming freshman class, which includes her daughter.

         Georgia A&M is noted for its renowned marching band lead by personable but powerful Art Diamond, adding to Eva’s challenges. Eva soon learns the value of seeking out a few strong allies for needed support to be successful in her job. Meanwhile, the students and faculty alike are looking to make a name for themselves at Georgia A&M.
