“Storm of Suspicion”
Premieres Sunday, October 7 at 8 PM ET on The Weather Channel

In what will be the network’s first foray into the popular true-crime genre, Storm of Suspicion is a gripping investigative series that examines spellbinding murders where weather played a central role in solving or covering up a crime. Each hour-long episode highlights a different investigation, examining a case through interviews, acquired footage and recreations, with expert commentary from world renowned Forensic Meteorologist Dr. Elizabeth Austin, The Weather Channel’s meteorologists, and more.

The series premiere will feature a special extended version, with less than six minutes of commercial time throughout the episode. New episodes of Storm of Suspicion will air every Sunday at 8:00 p.m. EST on The Weather Channel.

“We are excited to add Storm of Suspicion to The Weather Channel’s slate of original programming,” said Howard Sappington, VP, Programming at The Weather Channel. “As true-crime continues to gain massive popularity across all storytelling mediums, it only felt natural to expand our original programming to show our viewers how weather plays an important part in investigations of all kinds.”
