Hosted by James Beard Award-winning chef and culinary explorer Andrew Zimmern, the third season returns with 14 all-new half-hour episodes, plus six hour-long episodes, highlighting not-to-be-missed foods that define a location. Most travelers want to experience the local favorites, whether it’s classic cheesesteaks in Philadelphia, authentic satay in Singapore or traditional falafel in Tel Aviv. But how many really know the origins of these iconic foods, how they are prepared and the right way to eat them?Zimmern takes viewers into the kitchens where generations of chefs prepare and serve the cities’ most beloved dishes. This season’s international tour explores quintessential dishes from a variety of destinations including Seattle, Honolulu, Louisville, Portugal, Sicily, Puerto Rico and Manila.
