"Best in Food"
Season Premiere Sunday, January 28 at 10 PM ET/PT on Food Network

“Best in Food” provides us with a weekly opportunity to enjoy world-class competitions, while seeing some of the most impressive prizewinning dishes.

In the season premiere episode, “National Pie Championship,” over 200 bakers from across the country gather in Orlando, Florida, for the American Pie Council's National Pie Championships. From apple to pecan, the bakers make 800 pies hoping to be crowned "Best in Show" and win the top prize of $5,000.

In another upcoming episode, “Great Garlic Cook-off,” the garlic capital of the world - Gilroy, California - hosts eight amateur chefs in the world-famous Great Garlic Cook-Off. From appetizers to desserts, each chef makes one recipe using at least six cloves of garlic for a chance to win the $5,000 top prize and the coveted Garlic Crown.
